At long last I’ve started to blog. If not to appease the many who continually tell me “you should have a blog,” then more to help keep the many thoughts that spin in my head in one place. Dupuy Dish will be about the things I love most: Food, Cooking, Traveling, and occasionally, Fly-fishing. I don’t intend to do restaurant reviews. There are many brilliant ones already in print, and many others on myriad other blogs. Instead I’ll try to keep the categories short and sweet…most of the time.
Table Talk—concepts, trends, ponderings about, you guessed it—food.
Memorable Meals—Sharing my fondest moments of sitting around a table with family, friends, strangers, and everyone in between.
Travel Log—Pretty self-explanatory.
On the Record—So often I have such great interviews with people in the food, wine, and travel industry but I’m not able to cram it all into one story. This Q&A format will reveal some of the conversations that ended up on the cutting room floor.
I promise not to make this a vanity blog (I’m not even sure anyone will read this). I promise not to wax on and on about restaurants that don’t have table cloths or try to dissect each course of a meal just to take up space. And more importantly, I promise not to write about some one, some restaurant, some place, some new hip joint, or any THING, just because it’s the cool thing to do. If it tickles my fancy, I’ll write about it. But otherwise, I’m not for sale. ; )
